I’m Leeann, the L of LR Consulting. I received my BCBA in 2014 after completing my Masters in Special Education and my supervision hours at a non-profit activity center for children and teens with special needs in New York City. I then worked in the Washington DC area providing in-home behavioral support before moving to my forever home, Kansas City. Here in Kansas City, I have worked both in-home and in a large public school district supporting students in middle school through adulthood. The R of LR Consulting and I’m so excited to meet you! I stumbled into the behavior analytic world by accident after receiving my undergraduate degree in Psychology from The University of Kansas in 2014. Having no idea what I wanted to do with my degree I went to work in a clinic providing therapy for individuals with Autism and ended up staying there for almost 5 years! After receiving my Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida Institute of Technology and earning my BCBA in 2018, I moved to Iowa where I worked for a non-profit organization providing services to children with various diagnoses. Kansas City has my heart though and I came back home after only a year away! Here in Kansas City I have spent time working in a large public school district, in home, and clinical settings.
